In order to ensure quality control and transparency in recipes posted on Miloza, we push creators to be more specific when selecting ingredients. This is seen most often when searching for basic ingredients like Flour, Salt or Sugar - instead, search for All Purpose Flour, Table Salt or Sea Salt, and Granulated Sugar. If you are not finding an ingredient you would expect to be listed on Miloza, try being more specific in your searches.
If you've tried the above and can't find an ingredient, you can email us at support@miloza.com for help
Miloza is, and always will be, 100% free to use with zero paywalls, subscription fees, or hidden features. The way it should be.
Once you've entered a recipe detail screen (by tapping the light green button in the upper left corner of a post on the home screen, or by tapping on a recipe within search or your cookbook) - you can add any recipe to your meal plan by using the calendar icon with a 'plus' inside. Once selected, simply choose which day you'd like to add it to! You can move a recipe to a different day or delete it by swiping left.
We added the Saved Plan tool to help you spend less time planning your meals each week. Once you've added your desired recipes to your Meal Plan, tap the green 'Save Meal Plan' button to save the full plan for that week. You can create Saved Plans with as much or as little detail as you would like and they are all housed within your Profile. Eat the same breakfast or lunch everyday, but like to mix up the dinners? Create a Saved Plan to you liking and you can pull it into your current Meal Plan with two taps of your thumb!
We pull nutrition information for ingredients based on their averages. We look at all the ingredients & amounts listed in the recipe and calculate the total calories, proteins, fats, and carbs in each recipe. The nutrition information is then displayed in terms of the total percentage of your Daily Goal - if you choose to track this. The actual calories & macro nutrients may vary depending on the food brands and producers you choose to use when making the recipe.
If you have chosen to set a Daily Goal for calories and macro nutrients you will see goal circles for each within the Meal Plan tab. Any time you add a recipe to your Meal Plan, that day's goal circles will adjust accordingly! No matter the number of servings selected for each recipe within the Meal Plan, the nutrition information will always be shown for one serving. Tip: if you plan to eat two servings of a recipe in the same day and want your nutrition information to populate, simply add that recipe again to the same day.
A lot of new features within the grocery list are coming soon - Expect to have the ability to add & delete ingredients, check them off your list while shopping, separate them by location within your grocery store and much more!
